100 ideas for your bucket list

Live your life before you kick the bucket

100 ideas in a fun lifelong to-do list

Are you stuck in everything that’s urgent forgetting about everything that’s important? You may continue living like this until you die. Do you want to? Some people did not, and they came up with bucket lists.

A bucket list is something you wish to do in your life – big dreams, grand ambitions, small goals and something you are simply curious about. It may be something like learning to ride a bicycle or climbing mount Everest, or giving birth to 5 children.

As long as your heart asks for it, write it in your bucket list.

Kicking the bucket means dying, so your bucket list is everything you plan to do before you die.

People used to write bucket lists for life. In today’s fast-paced life we started writing lists for decades or 5-year time slots.

Let’s do it? Continue reading “100 ideas for your bucket list”

Traveling for life – #travelenjoyrespect

How traveling makes us grow, and how we grow with sustainable travel – my story

When I am asked – where do you live at the moment? I have no answer to this question. I live everywhere and nowhere at the same time, and this broadens my opportunities, at the same time making the range of responsibilities broader. I am Ukrainian, but visa policies are the only barriers that stop me from being all over the world.

We, the people, have so much in common that we often unconsciously try to separate from one another, but my biggest realisation in life is that we are one. And so, I travel the world, whenever I can, to celebrate this unity and diversity.

How do I travel?

I do not simply travel, I penetrate the lives of locals, Continue reading “Traveling for life – #travelenjoyrespect”

The only village in Moldova

Last summer I went to Moldova and wanted to visit the countryside, so my friend Anna invited me to the “only village foreigners ever go to”, where we visited a monastery and a local restaurant styled as a traditional house.

What’s up with foreigners visiting just one place in the countryside of Moldova? Continue reading “The only village in Moldova”

11 reasons to spend summer in Ukraine

Ukraine is an amazingly beautiful country with breathtaking natural scenery, yummy food and warmhearted people. In the recent years, it has been tough for Ukrainians to face the war and economical crisys, but we are indeed still enjoying life, even when it gets tough.

Many of my foreign friends are afraid to come here, as international media is picturing the country devastated and at war. Please know that with every downside there comes an advantage – these days Ukraine has become very cheap for visitors and only a small part of the country in the east is at war. It is the best time to come!

Here in this article, I share the reasons why you should definitely come to Ukraine this summer.  Continue reading “11 reasons to spend summer in Ukraine”

Many things Jingle Bell

or Christmas in the canals of Bangkok

Once you end up in Thailand during winter holidays, you just want to stay away from the beach and crowds, and we were thinking – where should we go? Chiang Mai is always a good option, but traveling there for a couple of days is just too long, so we chose an adventure of living in Khlong Bangluang, a small neighbourhood in the outskirts of Bangkok.  Continue reading “Many things Jingle Bell”

Things to do in Myanmar

In spring 2017 I visited Myanmar, a beautiful and wild country with a lot of jungle, buddhist temples and trash. Men wear national clothes similar to a skirt here, and one can find free water everywhere, as giving water to thirsty people is considered the best deed for your karma. The level of life is quite low here, but tourist prices are high compared to other countries in South East Asia, as the country was open for tourist relatively recently.

Here I want to share what are some interesting things one can do in Myanmar. Continue reading “Things to do in Myanmar”
